MEETING CALENDARS

The regular meeting of the VILLAGE BOARD is the third Tuesday each month at 6pm, except the following meetings are held the second Tuesday: the February meeting is moved to the second Tuesday if there is a February primary election since the statutory election date is the third Tuesday; and the April meeting is moved to the second Tuesday since the statutory date for the organizational meeting is the third Tuesday.

The regular meeting of the PLAN COMMISSION is the first Wednesday each month at 6pm, except the Commission does not meet in January and July except by special meeting due to conflicts with the New Year and Fourth of July holidays.

The meetings of the STANDING COMMITTEES are set by each committee at the first meeting of the new term and are subject to change based on workload and committee member availability.  There are frequent changes to standing committee meeting dates.

The meetings of the BOARD OF REVIEW, INSURANCE COMMITTEE, JOINT REVIEW BOARD, and ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS are scheduled as needed.

Memorial Day Cemetery Honor Notice – 5/26/25

NOTICE

The American Legion Post 477 and the Auxiliary Unit 477 members of St. Nazianz will conduct military honors at 2 local cemeteries in the Village of Cleveland on Memorial Day, Sunday, May 26, 2025. The stops will be at St. George/St. Johannas Cemetery at 9:30AM and at St. Wendel Cemetery at 10:05AM to honor all Veterans buried in these cemeteries.

Village Board members may be in attendance to gather information and participate in discussion. This may constitute a meeting of the Village Board pursuant to State ex rel Badke v. Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis2d 553, 494 NW2d 408 (1993), although the Village Board will not take any formal action at this meeting.

Military Honors for Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, at Local Cleveland Cemeteries

The American Legion Post 477 and the Auxiliary Unit 477 members of St. Nazianz will conduct military honors at eleven local cemeteries with 2 of the stops being planned for Cleveland WI.

Scheduled Cleveland Cemetery Stops and Times:
9:30AM – St. George/St. Johannas Cemetery – Cleveland
10:05AM – St. Wendel – Cleveland

Participants are encouraged to wear their last or current military uniform. If not, please wear traditional black slacks, white shirts, tie, and Legion vest and cap.

The Military Honors ceremony consists of a memorial prayer, the reading of the name of each Veteran buried in the cemetery, a three-round volley by the Honor Guard, and the playing of taps.

Activities should wrap up by 11:30AM. Lunch to follow for all participants and their families @ Meat’s. Please note that we will have special Legion Family presentations at lunch, we hope to see community members join us!

Bulk Goods / Electronics Recycling Info Notice

NOTICE

The Village of Cleveland is holding a Bulk Goods Drop-Off Day Event at the Yard Waste Site, 289 Whitetail Ln, Cleveland on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 9AM to 2PM. The Village is also hosting a Free Recycling Event on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, from 9AM to 2PM at the Cleveland Village Hall Parking Lot, 1150 W Washington Ave, Cleveland. The purpose is to give residents the chance to dispose of unwanted bulky items and unused electronics.
