MEETING CALENDARS

The regular meeting of the VILLAGE BOARD is the third Tuesday each month at 6pm, except the following meetings are held the second Tuesday: the February meeting is moved to the second Tuesday if there is a February primary election since the statutory election date is the third Tuesday; and the April meeting is moved to the second Tuesday since the statutory date for the organizational meeting is the third Tuesday.

The regular meeting of the PLAN COMMISSION is the first Wednesday each month at 6pm, except the Commission does not meet in January and July except by special meeting due to conflicts with the New Year and Fourth of July holidays.

The meetings of the STANDING COMMITTEES are set by each committee at the first meeting of the new term and are subject to change based on workload and committee member availability.  There are frequent changes to standing committee meeting dates.

The meetings of the BOARD OF REVIEW, INSURANCE COMMITTEE, JOINT REVIEW BOARD, and ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS are scheduled as needed.

Post-Construction Meeting

MSA Professional Services, the Village engineering firm, is hosting a meeting with property owners in the 2020, 2022, and 2023 Street and Utility Re-Construction project areas. The meeting will take place at Lakeshore Technical College, 1290 North Avenue Cleveland, WI, in Centennial Hall-West L177-B, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, beginning at 6pm.

The meeting is intended to receive feedback from residents on the processes, communication, and contractors’ performance related to street and utility work. Village Board members may be in attendance to gather information, which may constitute a meeting of the Village Board pursuant to State ex rel Badke v. Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis2d 553, 494 NW2d 408 (1993), although the Village Board will not take any formal action at this meeting.

Public Hearing Notice 05/21/24

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TDK Group LLC, 1278 Alpine Ct (Highland Lodge), has filed a Conditional Use Permit 2024-CUP-01 application to allow a portion of the existing detached garage to be remodeled for innkeeper’s quarters, without change to building height or footprint.

The Village Board is scheduled to hold a public hearing at its May 21, 2024, 6pm, meeting to accept public comment and possibly act on the Plan Commission’s recommendation. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall, 1150 W Washington Ave., Cleveland, Wisconsin.

The application is available at www.clevelandwi.gov; at the Clerk’s Office during walk-in hours, 10am-12noon, 12:30pm-4pm, Mondays through Thursdays; or by appointment by calling 920‑693-8181. Interested parties unable to attend the public hearing are welcome to submit written comments by letter through the Village Hall drop box; by mail to PO Box 87, Cleveland, WI 53015; or by email to Stacey Wilker at swilker@clevelandwi.gov.
